Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi.
You depart the city and travel south through rural landscapes and Maasai pastoral lands toward Amboseli National Park, located near the Kenya–Tanzania border.
Upon arrival, you check into your mid-range safari lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive across the park’s open plains.
Amboseli is renowned for its massive elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
During the drive you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators such as lions and hyenas.
After sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Safari in Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, continue exploring different sections of the park including the marshlands fed by underground streams from Kilimanjaro.

After lunch and relaxation at the lodge, head out again for an afternoon game drive searching for predators and other wildlife.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable elephant safari adventure.
