Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley toward the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Along the way you stop at a viewpoint overlooking the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment before continuing through Maasai countryside.

Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy your first exciting game drive across the rolling savannah plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

Today is dedicated to exploring the world-renowned Masai Mara with extensive morning and afternoon game drives.

The reserve is famous for its large predator populations and incredible wildlife density.

During your safari drives you may encounter lions resting in the grasslands, cheetahs scanning the plains and elephants roaming the acacia-dotted landscape.

If traveling during migration season, you may witness the massive herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the Mara ecosystem.

Day 3

Masai Mara Safari Experience

Enjoy another full day exploring Masai Mara’s diverse wildlife habitats.

Early morning game drives offer excellent opportunities to see predators returning from their nighttime hunts while the plains come alive with wildlife activity.

You may also visit the famous Mara River where hippos and crocodiles live, and where dramatic wildebeest river crossings occur during migration months.

Return to camp in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

Day 4

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast you depart Masai Mara and travel north toward Lake Nakuru National Park located within the Great Rift Valley.

The scenic drive offers views of rural Kenya landscapes and rolling hills.

Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive in the park.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its white and black rhino sanctuary, Rothschild giraffes and large flocks of flamingos along the lake shore.
